Bale Ties

The leading manufacturers of Hop Dip High Tensile Bale Ties. We have State of the Art manufacturing facility at Silvassa near Mumbai in India. We have an installed capacity of 1000 Tons per month of Bale Ties and we are the only suppliers to Reliance Industries, which is the third largest man made fibre manufacturing company in India apart from supplying to many other fibre producing companies in India.
We are exporting Bale ties to the companies in Saudi Arabia which is the largest man made manufacturing of fibre. We have been successfully supplying since last 3 to 4 years.
We are also regularly exporting Bale Ties to cotton producing countries like Uganda, Tanzania, Mali, Ethiopia, Tunis etc.
Thanawala group of companies has been in business for over 45 years. Our annual business turn over is US$ 50 Million.Over the years we have expanded from a modest general trading business in hardware & electrical items to manufacture of packaging material including Galvanised iron Bailing Wire, HDPE capsule Bags etc.
High Tensile Polyester Strapping
Identified benefits in bailing segments:
Ease & quicker application
Safety for workers
No applicable tools & tackles are required
Lighter than steel, hence low bale weight
Low inventory transportation cost
PET strap will not out into or transfer rust impression to the bale surface
Excellent Tensile Strength and Welding Strength: Thus it is used for many heavy packages
Excellent Tension Maintenance. It maintains tensile strength for a long stretch of time with minimized strap slacking, while ensuring excellent shock resistance ideal for long-distance, long period transportation
Super Weather Resistance. It can be stable under temperature of (50-80)degree C , which ensures PET straps widely applied under any conditons
Good Economical Application. The density of PET Strap is only 1/6 of Steel Strap for a given length, higher yield
Superior Flexibility for convenient operation. PET strap does not “Whiplash” when removed, thus creating a sale work environment for users. Moreover, it does not have sharp edges

Invented by Power Smith Ltd. and now part of the Carrington Wire Product portfolio, QUICKLINK is the first name in baling technology.Imitated the world over, these original, strong, reliable bale ties are capable of packaging all types of expanding materials.

Engineered to accomodate the demands and expansion stresses of fibrous materials such as synthetic fibre, wool, cottom, etc., and baled products for the recycling industry handling plastics, tyres, paper, cardboard and textile scrap, QUICKLINK holds the materials powerfully to its compressed volume, making it easy and safe to weigh, handle and transport.

Engineered and tested for breaking stress and elongation, QUICKLINK ties withstand the expansion pressures of the compressed materials while in transit and perform consistently in both the machine and manual applicaton of wire to the baled substrates.

Prescision formed for ease in application, each tie has a smooth surface and there are no shape edges to cut through the package. The pressure on the package can be monitored, as the knot gives a visual indication of the tension.

Strong & Reliable

Available in Coppered, Phosphate and “Galcron” finished, QUICKLINK baling ties perform consistently to sustain the pressure of the compressed material at all times.

Coppered and Phosphate finished products are used where bales are to be stored in enclosed warehouses. They are typically used for cardboard, paper, textile waste and other applications where the bale is covered prior to the straps being applied.

“Galcron” finish is used to provide corrosion resistance in applications where the wire is applied directly to the substrate material.Use of “Galcron” finish reduces the financial risks associated with contamination of packed material due to rust.

“Galcron” finish is an electro galvanic coating that plates a combination of alloys onto the wire to provide enchanced corrosion protection. Unlike dip galvanising, “Galcron” finishes are bright, exceptionally zinc dust during storage and handling.

Preventing Staining & Discoloration

Purity of color is a significant factor in many applications. Staining caused by a chemical reaction of substrates with the ties under high humidity can be a significant problem for many industries.

To combat this, Carrington has developed “CottonProtect” and “NoStain”; two durable, hardwearing finishes, colored to enable the operator to identify the fully finished ties easily.

Safe to Handle

QUICKLINK ties are made up of non-hazardous, high tensile steel for manual and machine application. Manufactured to precise tolerance requirements, their optimum bearing strength is reliably known.

Care should always be taken in handling wire and wire products are operators should wear safety glasses and gloves. Wire ends can cause cut and puncture wounds and contact between wire ends and unprotected skin must be avoided.

Baling ties are high tensile, straightened and shaped wire which will spring back when bent or formed. Always cut from the side.

Saving Time & Money

QUICKLINK ties are very economical compared to other baling options. The locking operations need no special tools and baling can be carried out very quickly and effectively without using specialist equipment.

The end loops are specifically formed to link effectively by pressing together, either manually or by machine.
