Blow Moulding

In this process, the plastic is first molded into a “preform” and it is then clamped into a mold after which air is blown into it. The air pressure then pushes the plastic out to match the mold. Once the plastic has cooled and hardened the mold opens up and the part is ejected. It is used to produce large quantities of hollow plastic objects. The simplified procedure and low cost of manufacturing while still giving desirable results are the best advantages of this method.
